Check the installed version, shop level, Workbench deck and the opponent at the table. For blocked tournament entry or controller UI remaining after a duel, compare your build with the confirmed 1.01 notes.

No Workbench or playable card game
The official launch path starts at shop level 7. Confirm your level and that the installed game includes the playable 1.0 update. Then use the Workbench rulebook and assemble the deck there. A worksheet on this website does not install a deck in the game.
Use the Workbench guide for the setup. An earlier-version video or a low-level shop is not, by itself, evidence of a broken save.
No prompt at a play table
The developer describes joining a lone customer waiting at a play table, using right mouse button on PC or the gamepad’s right face button. Check that situation rather than treating any occupied table as a joinable match.
Record whether the prompt is absent, present but unresponsive, or followed by an error. These are useful distinctions for a report. See how to start playing Tetramon for the normal flow.
Cannot join a tournament match
Build 1.01 specifically lists an entry fix for a player whose match has not started. Check the 1.01 notes and your platform’s installed build first. Do not infer that a patch on Steam has already reached your console.
After updating normally, retry the affected step and note the event state shown by the game. If it still fails, record the build, whether the tournament was loaded from a save and whether a normal customer duel works. These are diagnostic observations, not a promise that changing the event or resetting the day is a fix.
A card cannot evolve or attack yet
The developer’s rules introduction says a newly played Basic needs to wait a turn before evolving, and the first turn of the duel has no Attack Phase. Check the card’s predecessor and the current phase in the live rulebook before treating a disabled action as a bug.
Changing an entire deck will not solve a timing misunderstanding. When the problem is instead an unreliable opening hand, compare your target counts in the opening-hand and mulligan calculator. It measures draw consistency, not a card’s strength.
Controller selection UI stays after a match
This symptom is also listed in Build 1.01. Note which controller you use, how the duel ended and whether it happens in a clean setup. A still-visible overlay is not enough to conclude that your cards or progress have been lost.
Use a normal save-and-exit path when available before restarting. Keep the PC graded-card reveal shortcut separate from controller instructions; no controller shortcut for that new skip was specified in the addendum.
Still stuck: make a useful report
Copy these headings into a report: platform; installed build; shop level; input device; mods and versions; normal duel or tournament; steps to reproduce; expected result; actual result. A screenshot of the prompt and version is more informative than an unsupported diagnosis.
Before changing mods, read the save-backup guidance. Avoid deleting a save, using an unknown unlock executable or posting a full personal directory. Use the developer’s support route linked from the official game listing; this wiki is not official support.
Good questions. Clear answers.
Do I need to restart my shop to access duels?
Do not restart just for troubleshooting. The official FAQ says version 0.70 saves carry over to 1.0; first check the update, level and Workbench setup.
Why can’t my new Basic evolve immediately?
The developer introduction describes a one-turn wait for a newly played Basic. Check the installed Workbench rulebook and the required predecessor for your card.
Does the 1.01 Steam note guarantee a console fix?
No. This guide has not established identical build availability on every platform. Check the version available for your device.
