Will your opening hand
have what you need?
Explore one simple question: how likely is a random hand to include your target? Exact hypergeometric probability, with no simulated win-rate claims.
Set up the draw
How the calculation works
For deck size N, K target cards and a hand of n cards, the probability of exactly k targets is C(K,k) × C(N−K,n−k) ÷ C(N,n). The tool sums the appropriate outcomes for “at least.”
Card draws are without replacement. Cards outside the target group are treated as equivalent for this calculation.
What it does not include
No mulligan policy, search cards, known removed cards, play effects or battle decisions are modeled. A single target group can contain several names only when you genuinely treat any of those cards as an equivalent success.
