THE STARTING POINT

Choose a simple plan, check your actual collection and build it in the Workbench. Use this worksheet to record choices, not to replace the game’s card information.

Choose one thing to learn

Give a deck a clear purpose before filling its last slots. For a first practice session, focus on understanding early setup, using one evolution pair or improving an awkward opening hand. These are learning goals, not three verified winning deck lists.

Keep your card choices grounded in the effects shown by your current build. A pre-release screenshot is not enough to establish a competitive recommendation.

Try the partial evolution example

The developer introduction identifies Burpig as evolving from Pigni. The planner includes four of each to demonstrate copy counting, ownership tracking and an evolution reminder.

That is eight cards, not a playable 50-card deck. No remaining cards are fabricated to make the example look complete. You add the cards you have verified in your game.

Load the eight-card example in the planner.

Check counts and missing copies

Use consistent card names. Alternate capitalization and spaces are normalized, but different artwork or spelling may still need your attention. Record owned copies to distinguish a list that looks good from one you can assemble.

An evolution warning in our tool is a planning reminder. Its presence or absence is not a guarantee of full legality, sequencing correctness or strategic quality.

Test and keep a useful note

Write down the revision, what you hoped the deck would do and what happened. Change one small group of cards, then compare. Do not infer a win rate from a few favorable games.

For a specific target, the opening-hand calculator models a random five-card opening hand from 50 cards before a mulligan. It cannot decide whether the other four cards make the hand playable.
